Michael Sivils

Born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Michael has lived in Monroe, Louisiana for the past 40 years. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1993, Michael began his career managing a cotton gin, and it was there that he developed a love for agriculture. Michael has an extensive background in agribusiness. For 15 years he specialized in sales, service, and application of seed, chemicals, and fertilizer. This experience led to ownership in a farm chemical supply store. He has also farmed row crops for the last 30 years. In addition to his agricultural endeavors, Michael was the owner of an RV dealership for 23 years.

From a young age, Michael has loved all things related to hunting and fishing. He is an avid outdoorsman, and his true passion is deer hunting. Michael and his wife Susan have been married for 28 years and have three wonderful children.
