Robby Buffington, RF, is a 2009 graduate of Arkansas Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences. Soon thereafter, he began a journey in the field of environmental science that took him to the Appalachians of western Pennsylvania and eastern West Virginia, the swamps of western Florida, and the foothills of southwestern Idaho. After a decade in the natural gas and oil fields of Arkansas and the northern panhandle of West Virginia, where he worked in positions ranging from pipeline operations, well completions, and production; he decided that it was time to head home to the mountains and bottomlands of Arkansas and return to his passion of conservation of the Natural State. Since joining NativState as a Forestry Technician in January of 2022, Robby has had the pleasure of cruising multiple tracts of privately owned bottomland, upland, and pine timber not only in his home state of Arkansas, but also in Missouri, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
