Robert Stainton III, PE

Robert joined NativState after over a decade of work in stream and wetland mitigation banking. As senior engineer and manager, he oversaw all projects from site selection, survey, stream and wetland design, construction, and monitoring. He has an extensive background in hydrologic, hydraulic, and environmental modeling, as well as permit coordination with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Robert is originally from northeast Arkansas, where he graduated from Arkansas State University with a B.S. in engineering. Afterwards, he earned a M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Before working in mitigation banking, he spent five years with an environmental consulting firm and another five years with the US Army Corps of Engineers as a senior engineer. Robert is currently licensed as a professional engineer in Arkansas and Mississippi. Robert lives with his wife, Tara, and their two boys on an organic fruit and vegetable farm in central Arkansas where they love all things woods and water.
