Tim joined NativState in November 2023 as a Management Forester. Before coming to NativSate, Tim was a Reforestation Advisor with ArborGen covering Georgia and Eastern Tennessee responsible for marketing, sales, and customer support of ArborGen’s advanced pine seedling genetics. Before that, he was an account manager with Forest Resource Consultants in Arkadelphia, Arkansas responsible for all aspects of timberland management on approximately 130,000 acres of timberland investment property. Following college Tim went to work as a consulting forester with Chattahoochee Valley Forestry Services in Clayton, Alabama, assisting private landowners in defining and meeting forestry goals and management objectives.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources degree from the University of Georgia and an Associate of Science degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He also holds a Registered Forester License in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Since coming to work with NativState, Tim says that he feels that it allows him to put his years of forest management experience to work for landowners to assist them in a way that allows them to create income and improve their forests from a not so conventional opportunity. He truly believes the carbon opportunity really “empowers the next generation of forest stewardship”. Tim was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and currently resides in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with his wife, Beverly, and their six children. When Tim is not helping clients, he enjoys hunting, fishing, serving at his church, spending time with his family, and most of all following college football, as he is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
