The acquisition marks the latest step forward in NativState’s continued growth and commitment to delivering natural capital solutions through an integrated, end-to-end model for landowners, combining carbon development with local forestry expertise and long-term land management.
As part of the acquisition, the Neeley Forestry Service team is joining NativState, ensuring continuity of service for existing landowners and maintaining the strong relationships Neeley has built within local communities.
By integrating Neeley’s proven forestry expertise and management capabilities, NativState will expand its ability to act as a long-term operating partner to landowners, providing access to carbon markets as well as ongoing sustainable forestry management, wildlife management, recreational lease, and land management support.

What does this acquisition mean for me as a landowner?
It means you now have access to a fully integrated forestry and land management partner. In addition to forest management services and recreational lease management, you can now work with the same team for land sales, acquisitions, valuation, and forest carbon project development — all under one roof.

Will my current forester or point of contact change?
No. Continuity and minimizing disruption is our priority. The foresters and staff you know and trust at both Neeley and NativState are continuing to serve you. What changes is the depth of resources and additional capabilities available to support your property.
Are my existing contracts or management agreements affected?
All existing agreements will be honored. If any updates are needed for administrative purposes, we will communicate clearly and proactively. There will be no unexpected changes to your current commitments.
Will pricing or fee structures change?
There are no automatic changes to existing fee structures. Any future adjustments will be discussed directly and transparently. The combined company’s current focus is to minimize disruption and ensure that landowners understand the expanded opportunities now available to them.
What new services are available through NativState?
The combined company now offers:

What is forest carbon development, and is it right for my property?
Forest carbon projects allow landowners to generate revenue by managing forests in ways that store additional carbon. These projects are long-term and not appropriate for every property.
Our team can evaluate your acreage, management objectives, and timeline to determine whether a carbon project aligns with your goals — without compromising timber productivity or long-term flexibility.
Since its founding, NativState has enrolled over 750,000 acres across the southeastern United States in its carbon program, working with over 700 landowners and returning over $20,000,000 in carbon revenue to landowners.

What if I'm not enrolled in the NativState forest carbon program?
Neeley Forestry Service customers who are interested in forest carbon as an income source from their land now have the opportunity to enroll in NativState’s Improved Forest Management (conserving existing forests) or Afforestation (planting new forests) programs. Your Neeley or NativState contacts can guide you through the evaluation and enrollment process. Forest carbon development may not be a fit for every landowner. Neeley and NativState will be able to continue to supply the full range of forest management services to assist you in your long-term management objectives.
Will this change how my timber is marketed?
Your timber will continue to be marketed competitively and professionally. The added benefit is broader market insight and expanded relationships across the region. Our objective remains maximizing stumpage value while protecting the long-term health of your property.
Do you still focus on Arkansas and Louisiana?
Absolutely. Our roots are here. This acquisition strengthens our on-the-ground presence across Arkansas and Louisiana and reinforces our long-term commitment to serving landowners in the region.
I’m considering buying or selling land. How does this help me?
Previously, landowners often had to work with separate consultants for management and brokerage. Now, you can work with one team that understands your timber value, management history, and long-term objectives — providing more seamless transactions and informed pricing.
Can I still work with the Forester I am used to working with?
Yes! NativState works with many consulting foresters across our enrolled acres footprint, and we are happy to support our landowners and their preferred consulting foresters moving forward.
